Saw the sunrise during my morning commute across the Second Narrows Ironworkers Bridge. I waited for another cyclist to ride across the east bike path to capture his silhouette against the sun, but his silhouette was climbing very slowly. I missed the sunrise moment, and became too impatient to wait any longer.

I woke up Sunday, listening to rain drumming on our skylights. A wonderful Vancouver morning for Wedgwood’s New Brighton Cyclocross Race. Black skies, rain, gusty winds. Just across the bridge from home, easy ride to the start (wearing Goretex jacket, rain pants, and waterproof booties).
