Friday, September 19, Emily Chastain and I headed out for a two night packing trip in the Sierras. We stopped by the Ranger station in Lone Pine, CA to pick up our overnight permit. Then we went to the Inyo County courthouse in Independence, CA and excitedly obtained a marriage license. Went back to Lone Pine, CA, bought two silver rings at the Lone Pine Rock and Gift Shop, walked up the road to the La Florista flower shop, and got married.
We had a wonderful weekend, husband and wife, traipsing around the Cottonwood Basin and climbing mountains.
