As if snow pack and icy roads (and sneaky cops in speed-checking airplanes) weren’t enough to keep a driver alert, crossing the NM border brought an increase in traffic. Very slow moving traffic.

Wow. I’ll bet that is a journey those ranchers haven’t had to make in several years. I know there is a dirt road that goes around the backside of SA mtn., but I suppose it was so snowed in they had no choice but to take the paved road. I’ll bet the herd was plenty hungry too….
