Friday night I hooked up with some old friends from Mines . Larry (red shirt), who works for Matheson and seems to spend most of his time traveling on business, and Oakey (black shirt), successful entrepreneur converting his graduate work in microfluidics to a start-up called… Microfluidics
Here they are unwinding after the rest of the rest of the party had left, while Cygnus is crashed out on the couch

Oakey didn’t see that one coming..

notice the Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey on the table in the background
btw, the table we played on was made by Larry (although he hasn’t finished the legs yet). The man has woodworking talent…
I think that is enough for tonight. I had fallen quite a bit behind on posting, but ow that I finally have a laptop, I was able to download a month’s worth of pictures from my camera, and spend a little time uploading them. The new job is going well, albeit a little slower than expected. The weekly snow in Denver, coupled with the cold temperatures, have delayed the relocation and start-up of my biodieselpilot plant, not to mention some of the problems that I’ve encountered using the GC . But, it is now close. One more day (of working outside, during the Arctic blast that Denver is undergoing, and the pilot plant should be ready to rock. Once the electricity is hooked up. I’ve wired the fusebox in the skid container, but since I don’t trust my electricianship, I’m going to wait until Jimmy (my boss) gets back in town to check the wiring before turning on the juice. I just don’t have much experience or confidence in 3-phase 220V 50A wiring….then I can start doing what I was hired to do
