GITA 2006 is rapidly approaching (October 13-15). The trails are cleared (mostly), the campsites are reserved, the firewood has been arranged..
GITA is an MTBR gathering in Northern New Mexico, to bring other riders to out neck of the mountains to enjoy good singletrack. We try to time it during the fall peak color season, but this year I think that we’re going going to miss it by a week or so. Should still be some color left onthe trees, but most of it will be on the ground…

Thanks again for coordinating GITA. Denise and I really had a great time on the Saturday ride! I can’t believe the # of people that showed up…and the BBQ–excellent!
